New to EXIN. Need 3D printing advice

Mensaje por LeftSpin »

Hello!

I am new to EXIN. I have not even seen the blocks in person. I found this brick generator and modified it to make smaller bricks (64.17% scaling so they are Lego size in X and Y). I also modified the bottom connector to provide a tighter fit to the top connector (teton?).

Previously I have made designs around the "Montini" bricks I had as a kid. Montini are Lego compatible pieces made from 1961 to 1969. You can see my designs here:

I would like to adapt some of my designs to EXIN. I do not have any original EXIN blocks to test existing 3D models against. I would like to know which 3D block design is regarded as the best fitting to original full size EXIN blocks.

My ability to speak Spanish is very limited, but I am taking taking classes.

Bienvenido Ryan.

Welcome Ryan.

I have already seen what you do, on Facebook, and I think the idea you propose to apply it to Exin pieces is very interesting. Here you will find many people interested in 3D printing.

In this forum we basically speak in Spanish because, although the pieces were also sold in the USA, most of us are Spanish and Mexican, although you will see that there are also people from other countries. So don't worry about the language. Fortunately today we have great translators on the Internet.

Tell us more about yourself.
Where are you from ???
How did you meet the forum ???

Bienvenido Ryan.

Hello Ryan, Welcome to the forum. Use the Google translator for the Spanish. It is not perfect but but much better than guessing. LOL. ;)
Remember: You never have enough pieces, acquire more whenever possible! :D
